Opportunity city

Don't just podcast! Broadcast! Be the next Diana Ser, the next Suzanne Jung, the next Cheryl (isn't that a porn-star name) Fox or the next CNA male presenter whose name we can never remember! Details here. Audition form here. It's your chance to host a teevee show and be subjected to ridicule by thousands of bloggers! If you're a blogger, you can even ridicule yourself! How cool is that? You'll get to interview restaurateurs, go on fabulous Chan Brothers tours to Perth and Sydney and interview more restaurateurs, talk about Tiger Woods and Manchester United for a bit, talk about a shop that sells sex toys in Singapore for a bit, and then interview more restaurateurs. I don't think there's a better program made by CNA! So, whaddya waiting for? Download that form, fill it up and present yourselves! Double Mac @ Menotti's Double Mac @ Menotti's

Great idea for getting your butt off the couch to "effect" the local media. Reminds me of the time I ended up in a TCS 8 Chinese serial about Civil Defense and was given lines as a first time scene extra when my "Hua Wen" was from god knows where! I didn't bother watching the episode later on because I would have traumatized myself too badly for future TV appearances :P

Anyhow, the real spirit behind podcasting is to demonstrate power of personal publishing (like blogging). Why be at the mercy of CNA and the whims and fancy of mainstream media when you can run your own show? Heck, the natural progression of podcasting is videocasting... be your own actor, newscaster, videographer. Kinda like blogs, these vlogs (video logs) can be done as cheaply with a webcam, or as professionally with a DV cam and iMovie. Check this out for example http://smashface.com/vlog/2005/01/brooklyn-memories.html

I fill in form, then I go for audition, then I pass audition, then I become teevee host and then I interview Mr. Miyagi who inspired me to become teevee host. How interesting that would be.

Hey, what ethan said is true. You could have a TV show hosted by Mr Brown and Mr Miyagi called "The Brown Miyagi Show" or "The Miyagi Brown Show". Bet lots of people would want to see it.

I can't handle the heat, guys. Can't take it if people ridicule me. Simply cannot. Sensitive little blossom I am.
