Hurrah, the world is a safer place now


So, the fella apologizes unreservedly and A*Star decides not to sue and puts word out that they have decided not to sue. And boy, has word been put out. The Rest of the Free World will now know that we're all happy once more:

Wow, how nice of them to decide not to sue. I guess we should really be getting down on all fours and thanking them for their benevolence. Instead of perhaps pondering how warped our 'law' of defamation is.

Reminds me of the book nineteen eighty four. Maybe in a few years time it will be a crime to think of defaming, or rather, having personal opinions.
