Singapore nabs robbers by overkill We thought the ongoing drama that started on Thursday about some Malaysian armed robbers hijacking a boat and stupidly landing on Singapore's most highly guarded outlying island, Tekong was the highlight of the month. Then the Taiwanese president had to get shot. Anyway, quite funny. The poor reservists on duty this week got to do a real job and put on bullet proof vests to hunt down the bandits. I think Yasmin's Samuel is one of them (the reservists, not the bandits). Being Singaporean, they mobilised 700 men to hunt down 4 bandits. So far they've caught one. Speaking from experience, I think the reservists are more afraid of getting shot by each other rather than the bandits with the one shotgun and pistol.

I even told you the golden daffodil

Stupid song stuck in my head "...So i told a friendly star The way that dreamers often do Just how wonderful you are And why i'm so in love with you Now i shout it from the highest hill I even told you the golden daffodil..."

High Drama

On Saturday, our public classes welcomed an eight year old boy with autism. Our coaches have had experience working with autistic children, but nothing prepared me or HT for the hour of high drama. We spent the hour chasing the boy around the hall, jumping on the trampoline twice to rescue him from hurting himself.
