"Those that went there to meet popular bloggers, however, were not disappointed. The who's who of homegrown bloggers - Mr Brown, Mr Miyagi and Xiaxue - were out in force and posed for photographs with the fans."

Hmm... Not exactly a yawn.

You must realise, those newspaper dorks only think it's a yawn because they didn't stay for the post-event party. If they'd stayed they would have seen how nutty and spontaneous we all are!

And Mr. Miyagi, I'll say this again: YOU'RE HOT!!! =D

I think those reporters are non-bloggers, thus they wouldn't know anyone else there, thus feeling a little left out/bored...

A blog enthusiast, who though would love to … but didn’t attend the 1st Singapore Bloggers’ Conf, was flipping the ST on Sunday…
An event I anticipated that I will definitely have some regrets not attending

Surprised by the writers’ commentary on the event!

Thought to myself that it shouldn’t be that bad …

Not even a positive statement from ST man!

Learnt from some attendees that Sunday Times’ review is so UNTRUE!!!

MercerMachine over at SomethingSticky has a good take:

"I wasn’t aware that the convention was organized for the express purpose of amusing SPH reporters."

no, it wasn't organized with such an express purpose in mind. so none of you should feel responsible - let alone unhappy - that the press viewpoint wasn't as favourable as you would have liked.

boozie: they were neither blind, deaf nor dumb, nor tired after reporting on nkf & tt dorai news... they simply 1) were ignored, 2) don't get it...

they are just some probers to the sphere

Question: Did ANYONE REALISE THAT Sunday Times reporters were AT THE SCENE? All I saw were Melissa and Serene (who are both Straits Times). So they didn't even make the effort to socialise mah. Not our fault :)
