dear mr miyagi,
i have been an avid reader of your blog and was pleasantly glad to see your interview with mr brown on today's Zaobao. Basically, the reporter of Zaobao did a fairly good job in covering the story and of course, free publicity for Blogger.SG. But somehow, i felt that reading the article in chinese does not beat reading on Straits Times that was more reflective of the points that you and mr brown were intending to put across. Looking forward to more entries put up by yours truly.
P/S: your caricature on Today wasn't that bad after all, tot it did bring out the major features of your face. :)

Strangely, your Excerpt made me understand the ZaoBao content much clearer....

I guess I have to re-visit my Chinese Dictionary...

Your something-something-something didn't really help much, but it did sum up the article in a nutshell...

*hm*

Oh man, my chinese sucked. I only bothered to see the pictures in the article and read the English portions (just to know the chinese translation). :)

Now I know what is chinese term for "blog".

Mr Miyagi, maybe one day I should take a better picture for you. The photos all look like caricatures. :P

Hi Mr Miyagi,
I've been reading your blog for the last few months. Enjoyed reading your blog and it's really funny. Anyway the something-something-something kinda sums up my Chinese oral exam many years ago. It'll probably take me a day to decipher what's on that article....

reading and writing the chinese language is not that bad, once you are accustomed to it. we, as chinese, should be proud of our heritage!

mr miyagi: hope to see you blog in chinese in the future :)

IMHO, I thought that the article was balanced and well-written. I don't think there were any misquotes or potentially-contentious remarks.

However, there was one major and glaring mistake - the journalist Lin Fang Wei treated kennysia as a local blogger, as knight has pointed out.

Maybe he wanted to parody the SPG issue but no local bloggers did what Kenny bravely did. I wonder if Kenny has found out about the faux pas yet...
